Downtown Las Vegas is the city's original casino district, centred on the Fremont Street Experience. It has a more relaxed, old-school feel, lower prices and a growing food and bar scene in the surrounding streets and the Arts District.
Rideshare and taxis are quickest to the Strip; the Deuce bus runs 24 hours between Downtown and the Strip.
