SAHARA is a refreshed classic at the north end of the Strip with a Monorail station, Magic Mike Live and good value compared with central resorts.

Highlights

  • Las Vegas Monorail terminus (SAHARA station)
  • Magic Mike Live show
  • Renovated, modern rooms in the Alexandria tower
  • Lower rates than center Strip

During F1 race week

Ride the Monorail south toward the circuit and skip traffic altogether.

About the North Strip

The North Strip stretches from Wynn and Encore past Resorts World and Fontainebleau to SAHARA and The STRAT. It mixes some of the newest luxury resorts with the best-value classics, and it's next to the Las Vegas Convention Center.

The Monorail's SAHARA, Westgate and Convention Center stations serve this area; the Vegas Loop tunnel also links Resorts World with the Convention Center.

Nearby things to do

  • The STRAT SkyPod & Thrill Rides — The STRAT Tower is the tallest freestanding observation tower in the US.
  • AREA15 & Omega Mart — AREA15 is an immersive art and entertainment district west of the Strip.
  • Sphere — Sphere is the 366-foot-tall spherical venue next to the Venetian whose exterior, the Exosphere, is the largest LED screen in the world.
  • Fremont Street Experience — The Fremont Street Experience is a pedestrian mall in Downtown Las Vegas covered by the Viva Vision canopy, a massive LED screen that runs light shows every night.

Tips
