About this area
Within an hour of the Strip you can hike red-rock canyons, stand on top of Hoover Dam or kayak on Lake Mead. November is one of the best months for the desert.
Fitting it into race week
Track sessions run in the evening, so daytime is free for sightseeing. Allow extra travel time near the Strip on track nights because of road closures.
Tips
- Check which tours are running before you go.
- Pair with Boulder City and Lake Mead.
